Lori Krupke

Executive Director

“With a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a specialized study in Child Development from the University of Maine, my journey has always been about nurturing the early years. For over 30 years at Kids' Corner, I’ve had the privilege of building lasting relationships with staff, families, and our community. I was one of Kids’ Corner first employees.

I take pride in ensuring that every aspect of our center reflects our deep commitment, from the care we put into our outdoor spaces to the warmth of our programs. Kids’ Corner has been a steadfast presence in our town for decades, and knowing we’ve supported families and businesses with their child care needs makes my career truly rewarding. My favorite part? Watching and reliving the joy of discovery—it never gets old.”

Stacie Gray•Asst. Director & Head Infant Teacher

“Hi, I’m Stacie! I joined Kids’ Corner in 2002 after owning a home daycare for 8 years. My favorite part of my job is when the kiddos run in first thing in the morning and I’m met with a big hug as if they missed me after our short time apart.

I strive to create a comforting learning environment that can become a home away from home for the children. I can’t imagine being anywhere else because of them. "

Amy Pokoney •Toddler Room Head Teacher

“I came to Kids’ Corner from Special Children’s Friends. I took a part-time position in May 2014, hoping it would become full-time, which became official in the summer of 2015. I absolutely love how much time we get to spend outside and all the gardens we work on with the kids.

My goal is to help them learn valuable life skills and make Kids’ Corner their favorite place. I am passionate about what I do and committed to making a positive impact on the children’s lives every day.”

Jennifer Pinkham•Tweener Room Head Teacher

“Hello! My name is Jennifer. I have been working in early childhood education for more than 25 years! I have always enjoyed caring for children from my early days of babysitting and being a summer camp counselor through to my current position of Tweener Room Lead Teacher here at Kids’ Corner.

I believe in supporting each child as the amazing little individual they are. I work to meet each child’s needs, helping them to grow and learn at their own pace. I take pride in my classroom being a fun and engaging environment. A place where children learn a life long love for learning!!

When I’m not here at Kids’ Corner you can find me spending time with my own children. Together as a family we love exploring our island home and being by the ocean. Our favorite spots to be together include Seal Harbor Beach, going out for a boat ride or heading up to our family camp!”

Yesenia Lipski•Head Pre-K Teacher

“Greetings to you! I was born and raised in Peru. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education and have over 30 years of experience working with children. My four children inspired me to open my own school back in Arequipa, Peru. I always wanted to find new ways to teach, research, and experiment to meet the needs of children from all over the world.

I truly believe in the magic of childhood and the importance of learning through play. Teaching young minds to connect with themselves and with nature is crucial to finding balance in life. Working with children with special needs also taught me to see the world through different eyes. Love is the key ingredient in everything I do.”
